Who am I?
I'm a UX/UI designer with an architectural twist. My background in architecture has shaped my approach to digital design, which I view as both an art and a science. Designing physical spaces has taught me to balance form and function while prioritizing user comfort, and I now apply that same perspective to digital environments.
My journey
My path began in architecture, earning degrees from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the Poznan University of Technology. Working on diverse projects — from residential buildings to healthcare facilities — I shaped my skills in spatial dynamics and human-centric design.
The transition to UX/UI
As I got more into understanding user needs and experiences, I discovered a passion for solving problems in the digital world. I realized that the principles of architecture—understanding user behavior, balancing form and function, and creating intuitive spaces—directly translate to UX/UI design.
My approach:
User-Centric
In architecture, considering how people will use and move through a space is crucial. This directly applies to creating user flows and intuitive interactions
in UI/UX.
Balancing form and function
Creating structures that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional is directly applicable to crafting visually appealing and usable interfaces.
Empathy-Driven
Focused on understanding user needs and emotions to create meaningful UI/UX experiences.
Understanding of ergonomics
Considering human scale and comfort parallels the on user comfort and accessibility in UI/UX design.
Analytical
Using data to help make smart decisions for UI/UX design and guide strategy.
Visual communication
Being able to explain ideas visually is important in UI design, especially when creating wireframes or prototypes.
Design Philosophy
I think of design like creating digital spaces, using my experience with physical environments to build easy-to-use digital experiences. My aim is to simplify complex systems and mix architectural ideas with digital innovation to make things that really work for users.
