While I lived in Spain, I noticed that a lot of people use shopping trolleys. These were traditional, hackneyed strollers used by many adults. While talking to my friends, I started asking about it out of curiosity and talking to them about it. We came to the conclusion that we would be happy to use such tools, but as young people we do not really like the design of such products, and at the same time we are so mobile during the day that in our case, going shopping is often quite spontaneous.

I thought about the dimensions and capacity. I analyzed existing strollers on the market. I wanted the BagPack to be universal thanks to the design configuration, so that each potential customer could customize: model, color, material, zipper color, possible patch motifs, size, rings and seam colors. The form of the backpack was to be basic, but the configuration options were different, and the design was left to the user, so that everyone could modify it according to their needs.

I really liked the idea of rollable waterproof backpacks, which looked really good in terms of design while maintaining great functionality. I had the idea to combine a backpack with a stroller function and create one product. So I started making a preliminary 1:1 mock-up of such a backpack.

Then I more or less knew what my product would look like, so I had to check it out. I used Marvelous Designer to create it. And I started sewing my first backpack. In the program, I could check how the backpack would behave in various circumstances - when packed as much as possible or when relatively empty and rolled up.

After properly sewing and matching the forms of the potential product, I started playing with textures, appearance and style. At this stage, I also started to develop the necessary mechanisms for operation, such as the handle, wheels, the bottom of the backpack and other details.

The backpack can be used for shopping or as a suitcase. The design includes a retractable handle, a USB port, and wheels that can be hidden when used as a backpack.
